  • History

Rye Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation (Rye PT&R) opened its doors on October 2, 1995 with a vision of providing high quality health care with a personal touch. Through the guiding principles of putting the patient first, being committed to the profession of physical therapy, being kind, courteous and ethical Rye Physical Therapy began their journey of independent private practice. Through hard work and following the guiding vision established in 1995 Rye Physical Therapy developed a strong reputation in the Westchester area for providing high quality, individualized care. The practice began to grow and in 2002 a second office was opened in White Plains. By the end of 2003 we had six full-time therapists and four full-time support staff. In 2007 our Irvington office opened (Rivertown physical therapy) and today we have 36 employees. Our staff is technically excellent in their skills, and dedicated to the patients they serve. In addition to all being licensed therapists, the staff hold various other credentials, including four Doctors of Physical Therapy and two more enrolled in programs, one Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, six Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, and one Ph.D. While there has been great growth over the 13 years, our core values remain unchanged with a clear vision for the future.
